DOSING PROGRAMMES
Low to moderate levels of worm infection without any outward signs of infection can lead to serious losses of production. It is therefore important to plan a dosing program on a herd or flock basis, not to wait until outbreaks of worm disease occur on the farm. Such a program should be related to management systems and the major danger periods of worm infection. The following recommendations are based on trials carried out on U.K. Farms to determine the best time of year to dose animals in terms of improved production-weight gains, breeding performance etc.
In heavy fluke areas routine dosing with Fasicur plus is recommended form December to March when animals do not usually need treatment for roundworms. To get the best result from your wormer, it is important that you read the following notes.

October/November Better weight gains through housing period.
Completes worm control programme. Starts fluke programme.
Adult dairy cow, buffalo:
It is well established that where there is any suspicion of fluke infection in dairy cows, dosing with Fasicur plus at housing and six weeks later can improve milk yield and quality. There is now evidence to show that routine worm treatments can also significantly increase milk yields, with best result, achieved just before or after calving. Where worm and a fluke infection is suspected, Fasicur plus is the product of choice.
